Chatham Chicago Unites

Chatham Chicago is the neighborhood where I have resided since I was born. Chatham Chicago Unites is a social media campaign to display “Unity in the Community” and bring awareness to all residents of the Chatham neighborhood and from those who are in charge of keeping up the neighborhood on areas of improvement.

The campaign consists of two main stages of improvement that the Chatham neighborhood needs: street lighting and safety, and cleanliness and unity within the community.

After interviewing and collecting data from residents, I came to realize that better street lighting and safety, and cleanliness and unity needed to be improved.

I came to the conclusion that with better street lighting, it can help reduce the crime that occurs in the neighborhood, and cleanliness can be more improved if the community unites together to make the neighborhood look presentable at all times.

Below, you will see email blasts that have been sent to residents in the community, and digital flyers being promoted on the Chatham community Instagram profile in an effort to make those improvements for the community.
